In TYPO3 (4.3), due to new feuser authentication mechanisms, I am still keeping the plaintext passwords for feusers until all the components of the site in development are done so i can turn on the authentication that will be chosen later on and make sure it works with all components.
I see TypoGento has options to allow users to login into the shop without going through TYPO3 site.
What kind of password authentication needs to be implemented so feusers can login to the magento installation without having to go through TYPO3? From what I see Magento is salting md5s?

heya SupaDucta,
have you found a way to solve this issue?
i just want to provide the mini_login from magento
to the fe-users from typo3 without an extra login
form.
i´ve just started to build the first typo3/magento site and ran
into some problems i`ll write down later
